As a woodworker, my ultimate goal is to create something that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I started building birdhouses as a hobby while I completed a degree in Biology at the University of Guelph. After tweaking my grandfather’s design, I believe I have created a birdhouse that is optimal for house wrens and chickadees. We want to attract wrens to our yard as they can consume many of the insect pests that attack our vegetable or flower gardens. These birdhouses are easy to mount, a breeze to clean, are coated with the best non-toxic preservative available and have a high success rate. On top of birdhouses, I also build bottle carriers, bat houses, and furniture. All products are crafted using quality, locally sourced materials wherever possible.
