I hired Mike the Mover for my recent move from Toronto to Cambridge. I did so because I read other good reviews on them and they came highly recommended. I am really glad I did! Moving is stressful enough, the last thing you need to worry about is if your moving company is up to the task, reliable, careful with your stuff. I have had bad experiences in the past with other companies. These guys were great, I too now highly recommend them!
I was really pleasantly surprised at how thorough, friendly and careful the 3 gentlemen were. I have forgotten one name but I believe there was a Kevin and RJ. Great guys. Hard working.
I have utilized Mike the Mover for about 4 moves over the years. Then again, a weekend ago. The reason for this is because they do a splendid job every time ! They are fast, pleasant to work with, careful and polite. The weekend I moved was one of the hottest ones we've had this summer and it was tough going especially with all the stairs involved ! I would highly and always, recommend them to anyone and I do !! A BIG thank you to everyone at Mike's but especially the guys who moved me - Gord, Rob & Beau !!
Hard working crew on one of the hottest days of the summer! Nathan, Matt, Kevin and Tyson were great. Truck was filled to capacity, and for good measure they also moved our hot tub! We definitely recommend these guys. Competitive price too.
Amazing ~ the guys were patient, fun, cooperative and very gentle with our furniture. This is the second time we have used Mike the Mover and will use them again!
Very happy with Mike the Mover! The team of guys were excellent...very efficient but took good care of each item. We had some big, heavy furniture and they got it all out with ease! (At least it seemed that way!) : ) They were respectful and courteous and made the stressful moving process much less stressful! I would highly recommend Mike the Mover!
Would highly recommend! I have used Mike the Mover's services more than 5 times over the past couple years and I'm always impressed with the quality of service, professionalism and positive attitude everyone has! Most recently, Al, Tyson and Kevin moved me from Oakville to Kitchener on incredibly short notice over the long weekend and they were all so helpful, efficient and friendly! I am always so happy with the service provided that I will continue to use them again and again!
I would highly recommend Mike the Mover! Moving is a monumental task, especially if you are relocating to another town, as I was ... but Mike the Mover and the guys (sorry, Id like to mention your names, but Im lousy at remembering names!). But just know that you guys kept this daunting task light-hearted, kinda fun with some humor thrown in there as well - just a positive experience over-all! They asked where things were to be placed and did some set-up as well. Nothing was damaged because they took the time to pack and secure delicate items too. A very professional job - these guys rock if you ever need to move house:)
We had an really great experience with Mike the Mover! The team we had (Cory, RJ, and Dave) were efficient, very respectful (of us and our property), fast, and fun! They were so fast that our anticipated move time was significantly lessened, and they disassembled/reassembled everything perfectly. Aside from a practically perfect move (who’s ever even heard of that??), they had great advice and were a really entertaining bunch to deal with. We hope not to do this again anytime soon, but when we do, we’ll be using this company for sure! Highly recommend!
Hard working and efficient crew. These guys were careful and quick. We had a house full to move, as well as a beast of a Wolf stove that needed to move down some stairs. Two thumbs up! Our movers were Ike, Nathan, Tom, Tyson and MacKenzie...hard working guys!

I've used Mike the mover twice. First time 5 years ago fantastic experience. The three movers were very respectfull of our belongings, laid down runners through out the house on both ends of the move. Wrapped ever upholstered piece of furniture as well as anything with a door or drawer. It was a great experience. So I chose them for this move this time. It was a quick move 3 hrs. And although these guys got the job done there was some damage minor but things that will be visible forever. And they seemed to be race mode. All in all not a bad move just wish I had the first guy this time.
On April 26, 2018 your company, Nathan, Tyson and Cory moved my parents into a retirement home. It was a stressful time for my parents and family. Nathan, Tyson and Cory made certain the experience was completely stress free! They were very efficient, reassuring, pleasant and made it clear we were in good hands!! Our move went seamlessly. Moving is extremely stressful. With this long distance trek we wouldn’t have gone with anyone other than Mike the Movers. We are a repeat customer. Excellent friendly service from the initial phone call to saying goodbye. Fragile items were well protected. Thought about best way into the house so as not to create damage. Very timely and fair with regard to final cost. Would highly recommend.

The staff at Mike the Mover are very professional, helpful, and pleasant. Monte answered all of our questions when we called to inquire about moving us from our house to an apartment. We did call a couple of other moving companies which we will not mention and were not pleased with the responses we got. On moving day Gord, Tyson, and Ken arrived at the scheduled time, were very happy professional and it was so nice to see them all smiling, happy and considering the heavy furniture that had to be moved. They had us all loaded up and unloaded in 4 hours, all the furniture was put in place and nothing was damaged. We were very impressed with Mike the Mover and would highly recommend them if you are considering a move, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again guys you made the move effortless.
Mike the Mover workers Allen, Tyson, and Brock were great. They were quick - movng from a three bedroom home to an apartment isnt easy but they made it looked easy! They were very considerate and would highly recommend them. You are in good hands with Mike the Mover. Hopefully the three men mentioned here will be recognized for their excellent work. I wish to commend Kevin, Cory and R.J. for an excellent job. A friend has used Mike the Mover several times in the past and recommended them highly. They were careful with my possessions, moving me from my multi-level house to the tenth floor of an apartment without a scratch on anything. They also came in a few hundred dollars below the quote. I highly recommend them to anyone.
We used Mike the Mover to move our stuff into storage and then from storage to our new house in Guelph. On the latter move, one of the guys was drunk. He was quite obnoxious, smelled like alcohol, and used my bathroom 4 times in a 1 hour period. Perhaps related to the drunk guy was that we had several wine glasses broken and one box of glasses was missing. When we called about the drunk guy, we did get a discount but Russ at the office still did not believe me that he was drunk. Later he told me that he had one beer at lunch. Although I completely disagree that it was only one beer, Russ did admit that his employees drink alcohol shortly before a job. On top of that, I have received no phone calls to help with our missing box. There is definitely a feeling that you are not taken seriously. Although all moving companies struggle with the attitude of their employees, I would stay away from Mike the Mover.
Mike, we take your concerns very seriously. It is our intention that every move go without a hitch, much as your first one, into storage, did. We have done an internal review of the team member in question and it is our honest belief that he was not intoxicated while moving. Having said that, we have reviewed our policies on alcohol and behaviour on the job with all team members. This gentleman does have some communication impairments that may have caused you to perceive him as having been drunk but we do not believe he was intoxicated. He is a long time employee, with a great work record. While he does struggle with some challenges, he is a tough labourer. Having said that, Russ was happy to remove the full cost of this worker's time from your bill, despite how much work he did during the move. It is our intent to satisfy every customer and we felt that doing this would help. Sorry that you are still disappointed.
With a move of this size it is not uncommon for one or two boxes to be found later by the home owners. We sincerely hope that you locate this box as you continue to unpack and organize but, if not, please give Russ a call so that he can look into it further.
Great moving experience....my third or fourth with this company...consistently good......flawless transition for my baby grand piano...NOT an easy item to relocate! Thank you!
