Harvesting Lavender buds this year for the first time from my garden. I'm also going to attempt propogating some new plants. We'll see if my green thumb still works. It may be a bit rusty

Nope ... Not a handful of Lilies. It's this morning's haul of zucchini flowers. These will be cleaned and frozen and used for an annual family tradition. Piteyi ( Petty's) is an Italian dish made from Zucchini flowers. They are added to a batter and deep fried to make a type of fritter. Absolutely delicious and usually results in some fun family squabbles. Can't wait !!
